Hey guys...I'm putting in my alarm this weekend and want to avoid as much pulling/tugging as possible (to figure out which way things come out). I'm seeing in the instrux that the air vent register is meant to come off for this, but I'm not sure which direction it pulls. (Left? Toward the driver? Up?)

Any help would be appreciated. thanks!!

If you are refering to the vent on the left of the steering wheel. It pulls straight out (towards the remover), you'll need a very tiny screw driver or a plastic panel remover to pry/pop it out, take your time and keep working it out, was a little sluggish, once released slid right out

You don't need anything but your hands. Start at the bottom pulling out and up working from outside to inside, once you have the bottom loose pull straight out on the top. Kinda scary the first time you do it.

Good luck, take your time, wiggle it.

nice, thank you. Maybe I'll invest in one of these "nylon panel removers" since it seems like I'll be pulling off a lot of soft parts that I don't want to scratch. One other thing that caught my eye...........

how does the parking brake hole cover come out?
